In our Chinese Arts Gallery, you can view paintings by Zhongxian Guan(1905-1980) and Tieya Guan who is Zhongxian Guan's son. The Zhongxian Guan paintings survived the Cultural Revolution. Some of them are unfinished. The character paintings use the technique called "Gong-bi Ren-wu" which means “meticulous character painting”. Tieya Guan is one of the very few artists in China who know this technique. You can order a painting by him. Tieya Guan also paints Chinese landscape water color painting.
